The end of another year…

I don’t have anything exciting to blog at this time. M and I are doing well and we are starting to look into buying a house. We are thinking of getting a foreclosed house, we are already checking websites to find availables ones. I have to get on the ball and call the realtor that my Step-father-in-law recommended. Other than that things are going pretty well.

My son and I appear to have an allergy to Cedar. I find it annoying, Lil Monkey Boy has a much harder time with it. So up until mid-February we have to be very careful and suction him regularly or he may end up puking his soy milk all over. At least he can eat without issue. I also need to make him walk more. He knows he can balance and walk far, he just chooses not to. I will change his mindset so he walks all the time. He loves to come to me so I will show him how it’s easier to catch me when he is walking then when he is craling. Or at least I will try.

It’s traditional to have New Year’s Resolutions. My only New Year’s Resolution is to resolve to make changes in my life immediately when necessary and not wait for New Years to make a resolution. With that being said, I have more traditional resolutions that I want to keep to.

  1. Read more – I want to start with reading up on the Presidents of the United States and about different Renewable Energy Technologies, starting with Solar Energy.
  2. I want to lose weight. Which will mean a lifestyle change in terms of eating habits, otherwise known as a diet. However, I am not going to go on a prepackaged plan like Atkins. I will just be smart about what I eat.I will also have to exercise more.
  3. Look into and if possible buy a house.
  4. Write more – Blogging and perhaps a story/novel. I don’t pretend that I am a writer or that I can actually get published but just the writing will be good. If I can get published, awesome!
  5. Draw more – Whatever hits me.
  6. Take more pictures – With Camera, Phone, whatever is handy!
  7. Find other ways to improve myself.

If nothing else, I hope to blog more. I would love to see non-spam comments to my posts. Ones from people who visit and read and comment thoughtfully.

I am right with you on these goals.

I *always* want to read more. And incidentally, I am already on a Presidents of the U.S. kick. I have many a book already. Want me to start sending them your way as I finish them? As it were, I am also looking into green stuff too.

I am not worried about my weight but I could eat more healthy. I could exercise if I had the energy. =/ Que sera! Sera!

I definitely want to write more. I am going to write more. =) I would also like to draw more too and take pictures. Nice. We will be in sync this year.

Will you draw me something reading related, please? Or a bird.
