ShelfariI just read a Yahoo article entitled Wealth-Less Effect: Earning Well, Feeling Otherwise. It really pissed me off to no extent. It truly amazes me how many clueless people manage to work and make shitloads of money. Well, here is my official reality check for EVERYONE who was interviewed for the article:
Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Parnell! If you can afford to vacation at a beach resort every year and to put five children through private school then you are very well off! You are also either clueless or have major balls to say since you cannot fulfill all of your wants that you do not feel wealthy. You really want to feel like you are not wealthy? Try not vacationing and driving a 20 year old car while living in an apartment. Oh, try living without medical insurance. Even better, try unemployment! After all, you can pay off all of your bills, food, college funds, donations to charities and you still have $1200 a month for savings! You want poor! Try making $1200 a month and work from there!
Yes, this whole article is complete drivel, with well off people whining cause they might see a slight increase in their taxes which might cut into them getting another house while a large percentage of people in the U.S. are defaulting on house payments and going into foreclosure! They complain about having a 10 year old infinity when plenty of people are living with having a 15 to 20 year old rusted pickup! They can afford private school! Enough said!
This article just makes me so angry that people can be so clueless!
