My morning exercise…

After my Alpha Cub had his breakfast he insisted, in his own I only speak baby way, that he wanted to watch Wiggle Time! It’s a fantastic DVD, featuring The Wiggles, an Australian troupe of four that sings lots of songs and dances to them. Of course they all encourage their audience to ‘wiggle’ also. [...] Read more »

Book Review – ‘Blink – The Power of thinking without Thinking’

I recently read the book ‘Blink – The Power of Thinking without Thinking’ by Malcolm Gladwell. The book postulates the theory that people can make better decisions with only the small amount of information that can be obtained when first presented with the question or problem. The author presents many case studies, from The 2002 [...] Read more »

Carrie Prejean, Miss USA Beauty Pageant and Craziness

There are a lot of people who are still writing blogs and articles about Carrie Prejean. They are digging up old topless photos, threatening to take away her Miss California crown and otherwise running a smear campaign.

I was fortunate to actually read an article at Huffington Post which basically has the same thoughts on this [...] Read more »

Book Review: Mr. Norrell and Jonathan Strange – Vol I

Mr. Norrell and Jonathan Strange is a trilogy set in Victorian Age England, with a few twists. Magic and magical realms exist but start out being parts of history and are beginning to be regarded as myth. There are many Theoretical Magicians, who study magic but can only talk about it and can perform none [...] Read more »

Website Review – Reviewstream.com

As part of my quest to become a frelance book reviewer, I have been trying to find websites where I can publish my reviews, and if I am lucky maybe even make a little money. One of those sites was Reviewstream. It looked pretty cool, so I created an account and submitted a review. All [...] Read more »

Chronicles of an amateur book reviewer!

A little over a week ago I made a decision that I will try and become a freelance book reviewer. After all, I love to read and I love to write so I might as well do something organized with it. I might even be able to earn some free books within a short while. [...] Read more »
