My father’s visit

This Wednsday my father and his partner Marion came to visit my family. He really came to see my son, his latest Grandson, but my wife and I happened to be around also so they tolerated our presence.

They stayed for two days. The first day overall went just ok. There were good times, like both of them making it early to the apartment and seeing Lil Monkey Boy all day. They also got to see my aunt-in-law’s children and a little slice of San Antonio. Lil Monkey woke up in the middle of the night and wasn’t feeling 100%, but other than that the day went well.

The second day went much better. LMB was a two year old, and mostly refused to eat. Other than that he was a charmer and everyone had a great day. I caught up on a lot of old news that I rarely ask people about so I rarely receive. I figure I should start climbing the grapevine, but sometimes out grapevine grows thorns, and I really hate to be poked like that.

Still, I loved that they both came by. Friday morning early they headed toward Albuquerque to visit one of my sisters. I called and made sure that they made it there safe. All is well and everyone had fun.
