I have already blogged that I bought a book on how to learn a language. Here is my start in blogging my progress!

First, I will be listing the resources that Mr. Farber advocates, and discussing them.
Here is the list of recommended resources:
Basic Textbook
Phrase Book
Newspaper or Magazine
Student Reader
Portable Tape Player
Audio Forum
Blank Cassette Tapes
Flash Cards
Blank Flash Cards
Sturdikleers
Felt Highliner Pen

I have gotten scant few of those resources right now, in any form. I have the internet, which can double as a textbook and phrase book in a pinch. I have an iPod, which can easily work as a modern tape payer. I don’t have any of the other resources yet, but I have looked for them and located a few. However, I have a dear friend that knows spanish with whom I am conversing with every other day, and I need to increase that frequency. It has helped a lot. I also know a few people locally, so I just need to get the courage to start up conversations. I figure I will start on that tomorrrow.
